What it is
Field software is easy to oversell, because the buyer cannot test the claim until the job is on the line. The fix is to publish only what is measured, say where it was measured, and say plainly what the product does not do.
How Demarc does it
Speed: the timing above is rendered from the measurement file, and a test fails the build if the site ever states a ceiling below a measured run. Hand time: we found no published measurement of how long a warranty package takes by hand, so we print no number for it. Price: Starter $99, Pro $199 and Enterprise $399 a month, with no per-seat charge.
What Demarc does not do: it does not submit packages to the manufacturer (you do), it does not read Ideal/Trend or AEM exports yet, and it does not publish a desk acceptance rate across customers, because none has been measured.

- iPhone 13 mini (Safari): 6.0 s, 7.0 s, 6.7 s
The bar Demarc is held to
Every number on the home and pricing pages is rendered from data the product produces or carries a public source, and the claims are checked by a gate before each deploy: each promise on the home, pricing and terms pages has to name the code that keeps it.
What the usual tools leave to you
Reviewers of field apps for contractors describe products that were over-promised on capability and did not come close to their claims.
