Getting started with Demarc

  1. Create your account Sign up at app.getdemarc.com/auth/register. No credit card required for the 14-day trial. You will receive a confirmation email — check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
  2. Create a project From the dashboard, click “New Project.” Enter the site name, address, and any project notes. You can create multiple floors within a project.
  3. Upload floor plans On any floor, upload a floor plan image (PDF, JPG, or PNG). Then click to place drop pins on the plan — one pin per cable run location.
  4. Export CSV from LinkWare, import into Demarc In Fluke LinkWare PC or LinkWare Live, export your test results as CSV (Summary or Full format both work). Drag the CSV file into Demarc's Fluke Import screen. Cable IDs from the CSV auto-match to your drop pins by name.
  5. Review margins and resolve issues The project hub shows pass/fail counts, margin distributions for IL, NEXT, RL, and ACR-F, and PoE compliance status. Drops with marginal results are flagged. Click any result for the full margin breakdown.
  6. Generate your warranty package Click “Generate Warranty PDF” and select your manufacturer (Panduit, CommScope, Belden, Leviton, Hubbell, or General). Demarc builds the complete submission PDF from your test data. Download and submit to the manufacturer.
  7. Close out the project When all punch items are resolved and daily logs are complete, generate the as-built closeout package — one PDF with the project summary, BOM, all logs, test results, floor plans, and photos. Share the client portal link with your GC so they can track progress in real time.

Frequently asked questions

What Fluke testers are supported?

Demarc works with CSV exports from any Fluke Versiv-series copper tester: DSX-5000, DSX-8000, DSX-600, and DSX-600+. Export your results from LinkWare PC or LinkWare Live as either Summary or Full CSV, then import directly into Demarc.

Fiber support (CertiFiber Pro, OptiFiber Pro) is coming soon. Check back or email us to be notified when it launches.

What is the difference between Summary CSV and Full CSV?

Both formats work with Demarc. Summary CSV contains overall pass/fail results and worst-case margins. Full CSV includes per-frequency measurement data for every pair. Demarc imports both and extracts all available margin data from whichever format you provide.

My cable IDs are not matching my drops. What should I check?

Demarc matches cable IDs from the Fluke CSV to the drop names you entered on your floor plan. If IDs are not matching, check that:

  • The drop names in Demarc match the cable IDs in the CSV exactly (case-sensitive).
  • You are importing from the correct project floor.
  • The CSV was exported from the correct LinkWare project.

You can also manually link a CSV result to a drop from the import results screen.

Which manufacturer warranty programs are supported?

Demarc generates formatted warranty packages for: Panduit Certification Plus, CommScope SYSTIMAX, Belden, Leviton, and Hubbell. A General format is available for all other manufacturers. Additional programs are added on request — email us with the manufacturer and program name.

Can I use Demarc offline?

The iOS and Android apps support offline use. Cable run data, daily log entries, and photos queue locally and sync automatically when connectivity is restored. The web application requires an internet connection.

How do I share test results with my general contractor?

From any project, click “Share Portal” to generate a shareable link. Your GC can open this link in any browser without logging in. They will see the project stage, test progress, pass rates, and recent daily logs. The link remains live as long as your account is active.

For formal deliverables, generate the as-built closeout package PDF and send it directly.

How do I add team members?

From Settings > Team, click “Invite Member” and enter their email address. They will receive an invitation email with a link to set up their login. Each team member has access to all projects in your organization within your plan's seat limit.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings > Billing and click “Cancel Subscription.” Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your account switches to read-only mode and all your data remains accessible for export. To reactivate, simply add a payment method and choose a plan.

Is my data secure?

All data is transmitted over TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted on managed storage. We do not share your project data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling and retention.

What devices are supported?

The Demarc web application works in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). The iOS app requires iOS 16 or later on iPhone or iPad. The Android app requires Android 10 or later. iPad is recommended for floor plan work due to the larger screen.
