Frequently asked questions
What counts as an active project?
An active project is any project where you are currently adding data. Projects can be archived at any time, which frees up the slot without deleting your data.
Does Demarc replace LinkWare Live?
No — and you don't need to choose. LinkWare Live handles tester setup and result uploads. Demarc starts where it stops: take the CSV you'd normally export and turn it into floor-plan pin mapping, manufacturer warranty PDFs, punch lists, daily logs, and a complete closeout package. They complement each other.
What Fluke testers are supported?
Any Fluke Versiv-series tester that exports CSV from LinkWare PC or LinkWare Live: DSX-5000, DSX-8000, DSX-600, DSX-600+. Both Summary and Full CSV formats are supported. Fiber support is coming soon.
Which manufacturer warranty programs are supported?
Panduit Certification Plus, CommScope SYSTIMAX, Belden, Leviton, Hubbell, and a General format for other manufacturers.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account switches to read-only mode. All projects, test results, PDFs, floor plans, and logs remain accessible for export. There is no time limit on read-only access. Contact support@heronnetworks.net to fully delete your data.
Is the 14-day trial really no credit card?
Yes. Sign up with just your email. You won't be asked for payment until after your trial ends.
Is there a per-seat charge?
No. Demarc is flat-rate within the team-member limit of your plan. No per-user fees within a tier.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Annual billing saves 17% compared to monthly. You can switch intervals at renewal time.
