What each report must show Test date; the performance level and whether it is a permanent link or a channel; a link identifier that follows ANSI/TIA-606-B; a PASS or *PASS overall; the project name; and the test equipment manufacturer, model and test cord adapter part number.
“Date the test was conducted. ... the link configuration (permanent link or channel). A link identifier in compliance of ANSI/TIA-606-B and ISO/IEC 14763-2-1. A "PASS" or "*PASS" test result ... Fiber No negative loss counts as a PASS; each fiber report needs link loss and length; reference cords must themselves be tested and the reports submitted.
“For fiber installations only, no negative loss values will be accepted as a "PASS" test result. ... Each optical fiber link test report must include both link loss and length ... a passing test report for each reference cord must be submitted”

What the public documents do not say
  • The list of Panduit-approved field testers is not in the guide; the only list found publicly is a 2010 testing procedure for the TX6A shielded system, which names two instruments no longer sold. Ask Panduit for the current list.

Drop a LinkWare CSV export into the free checker. It looks for failing and marginal links, links with no result, duplicate IDs, mixed test limits and missing fields, and applies the rules above that can be read from a file. The file stays in your browser.

What Demarc does for this program

Demarc prepares the package; you submit it through Panduit ONE Partner Portal. For this program the Demarc warranty kit checks:

Deadline clock Demarc tracks (each carries its source):

Copper test configuration in Demarc's kit for Panduit. The kit follows Panduit's guide: a permanent link or a channel both pass, as long as each report states which.
