Drop a LinkWare CSV export here
Summary or full CSV from LinkWare PC, copper or fiber, comma or semicolon separated. Native .flw files cannot be read in a browser (and are the file of record: keep them).
No export at hand? Download a sample LinkWare CSV (143 synthetic Cat 6A links with the defects a warranty desk finds) and drop it here.
How to get the CSV
Per Fluke's own instructions, in LinkWare PC set the CSV parameters under Options > CSV..., open the .flw file, then choose File > Export to File > Autotest Reports... for the full CSV (or Autotest Summary... for the summary CSV). Your original .flw stays untouched.
What it checks
- Every link: PASS, PASS* (marginal), FAIL, or no result at all.
- Duplicate link IDs and rows with no ID (a row with no ID cannot be placed in a package).
- Mixed test limits across the file, and links tested as a channel when the program asks for another configuration.
- Missing test date, test limit, tester model.
- Per program, only what that manufacturer's own documents say: Panduit (6 month window, negative fiber loss), Belden (approved tester list, channel limits), Hubbell (approved tester list), CommScope (completeness only; its public terms do not name the test set).
What it cannot do
It cannot read a native .flw file, cannot see calibration certificates or reference-cord checks, and cannot decide whether a manufacturer accepts a package. It reads the CSV columns LinkWare writes; if a column you need is missing from your export template, the corresponding finding tells you so. The column-name rules are the same ones Demarc uses when it imports your file.
Demarc imports these exports, keeps the native files untouched and assembles the package for you to submit. See what it does or start a 14-day free trial.
